WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ - Monmouth University Baseball dropped the middle game of a weekend series with Hofstra Saturday, 9-1.

The Pride got on the board with a three-run third before
Reed Interdonato kept them off the board for three straight innings. Santino Rosso homered for Hofstra in the sixth, and Monmouth got on the board in the seventh when Trochiano singled home
Nick Czarnecki. The Pride added runs in the eighth and ninth to take a 9-1 victory.

Reed Interdonato turned in his second longest outing of the season at 5.2 innings.

Stephen Aldrich tied a season high with three strikeouts.
-Mark Faello earned the win for Hofstra.
