SOUTHPORT, NC – Liddie McCook finished in 25
th place to lead Monmouth University Women's Golf in its first ever appearance in the Colonial Athletic Association Golf Championships. The tournament was held at The Reserve Course at St. James in Southport, NC, where Monmouth finished in eighth place in the nine-team field.
McCook posted two of three rounds in the 70's to finish T25, while sophomore
Ava Lozito tied for MU's low round of the weekend with an opening 76 en route to finishing 28
th.
Paige Diecidue also shot 76 in the middle round, finishing 37
th, while
Claire Orr posted 79 to open up. Angela An and
Sophia Ramirez Velandia both played in the fifth spot in Monmouth's lineup, with Ramirez Velandia playing the first two rounds and An playing the final 18.
