Oldsmar, Fl. – Monmouth University Women's Golf competed at the Butler Benbow Invitational this week in Oldsmar, FL, finishing 13
th in the event. Monmouth was led by junior
Ava Lozito, who ranked 33
rd.
Lozito led MU on the week, placing 33
rd with an opening round 80. Also opening with 80 was
Liddie McCook, who finished inside the top-50.
Brooke Bothwell,
Sophia Ramirez Velandia and Angela An were in the Monmouth lineup as well, while
Mary Gersec and
Jess Brehm played as individuals.

-Lozito and McCook posted MU's low rounds of the weekend with opening round 80's.
-Lozito led the Hawks with 80-81; 161.
-MU shot 331-331; 662 as a group to finish 13
th out of 16 teams.
-The Hawks competed in consecutive events in Florida.
