Fleming Island, Fl. – Monmouth University Women's Golf kicked off its spring schedule this weekend at the Sacred Heart Invitational at Eagle Harbor Golf Club in Fleming Island, FL. Junior Ava Lozito led Monmouth with a top-20 finish.
 
As a team, Monmouth finished sixth in the eight-team field, shooting 312-315 in the two days. Lozito led Monmouth with her 20^th-place finish, just ahead of freshman Brooke Bothwell in 23rd. Angela An, Liddle McCook and Sophia Ramirez Velandia all posted a round in the 70's, with Mary Gersec and Jess Brehm also competing on the weekend.
