WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University Baseball dropped a CAA contest to Elon University on Saturday afternoon, 12-1 at MU Baseball Field.

Elon jumped out early, scoring three times in the first powered by a two-run home run from Tanner Holliman. The Phoenix added to the lead with James Broderick's two-run single as part of a three-run third, with Broderick singling in another run in the fifth that made it 9-0. Elon would add three more before MU got on the board in the eighth with a
Harry Padden sac fly.
