REIMET NETS TWO AGAINST FDU TO EXTEND WINNING STREAK

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Summer Reimet tallied the first two goals of her career as the Monmouth University women's soccer team improved to 3-0 in 2022 with a 3-0 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson (0-3) on Thursday afternoon.

Reimet found the back of the net for the first time midway through the first half, sending a strike from just outside the 18-yard box to the top right of the goal. The freshman scored again three minutes into the second half, converting on a feed from Olivia Ramiz to increase the Monmouth advantage to 3-0.

Lauren Karabin opened the scoring for the Hawks just 38 seconds into the match after a shot by Reimet hit the left post. The graduate student collected the rebound out in front and chipped it past the goalkeeper for her first goal of the campaign.
