EDISON, N.J. – Sophomore
Lenien Jamir of the Monmouth University women's tennis team received Second Team All-MAAC honors at No. 4 singles on Friday.

It marks the second consecutive year that Jamir claimed all-conference recognition after being tabbed First Team All-MAAC at No. 5 singles following her rookie campaign.

The Assam, India, native collected several key wins in singles play for the Hawks this season. During the non-conference slate, she won matches opposite Sacred Heart, St. Francis Brooklyn and Wagner, before capturing victories over Rider, Marist and Siena in MAAC play. Â

In addition, Monmouth placed four Hawks on the MAAC All-Academic Team in
Sydney DeNardo, Jamir,
Zoe Klapman and
Ann Spurka.
