LITTLESTOWN, PA – Monmouth University Women's Golf won the Quail Valley Spring Invite this week, topping a seven-team field to win by eight strokes over its next closest competitor. Junior
Paige Diecidue tied for first in the tournament, falling only after three playoff holes.
Diecidue tied with LIU's Julia Towne for the top spot in the field through 36 holes, posting a pair of 76's. Towne won the playoff with a birdie on the third hole to capture the individual title.
Cassidy Gavaghan placed solo fourth for MU, firing a final round 74 to finish two shots shy of the winner. Freshman
Ava Lozito was tied for fifth, three shots behind Gavaghan, while
Amanda Hart ranked seventh while playing as an individual. Junior
Liddie McCook also grabbed a spot in the top-10, finishing T9 while
Claire Orr with 19
th with a final round 79.
