STATEN ISLAND, NY – The Monmouth University men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up their fall semester indoor schedule after competing in the Wagner Seahawk Shootout on Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, NY.

This marks the first time Monmouth has competed in two December events since the 2019-20 season.

The Hawks won a total of six events and added five new all-time top-ten performances at the meet hosted by Wagner College. The men's team won four events and made four top-ten lists, while the women won two events and put together one top-ten performance.

Other notable performances included
McKenzie Delahanty in the women's mile run, who finished second with a time of 5:05.74, a new personal best.
Seb Reed also placed second in the men's mile run, posting a time of 4:16.97, while
Stone Caraccio set a new personal best in the 3000m run with a time of 8:40.85.

For jumps,
Natalya Torres placed second in the high jump clearing the bar at 1.55m,
Blake Wehr finished third on the men's side at 1.95m, and
Rett Schnoor placed third in the long jump at 5.46m.
With a time of 34.44,
Jalen Jones placed second in the men's 300m event. Both the men and women placed third in the 4x400m relay with times of 3:18.33 and 3:53.95, respectively.
Jade Luciani placed third in women's weight throw with a new personal-best throw of 15.82m.
