Monmouth Track and Field Evan Niedrowski Ends 2026 Season at NCAA Championships

The graduate student competed at the NCAA Championships for the third time since 2022

EUGENE, Ore. (June 10, 2026) – Monmouth thrower Evan Niedrowski wrapped up his impressive 2026 outdoor season at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, earning a 67.75m mark in the Javelin on Wednesday evening.

The Monmouth all-time record holder in the event finished in 21st out of 24 competitors at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon's campus, besting his mark of 66.18m at last week's NCAA regional in Lexington, Ky.

In his third trip to the NCAA Championships since 2022, Niedrowski started with a 67.72m toss on his first attempt before extending his score by .3 on his second throw.

This season, the Wyomissing, Pa., product returned to action for the first time since 2024 following elbow surgery, earning gold medals at the Larry Ellis Invitational and the CAA Championships. He had a season-best mark of 71.87m at Princeton's Larry Ellis meet.
