WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Monmouth University women's soccer team celebrated Senior Day with a crucial 2-0 victory over visiting Drexel on Sunday afternoon at Hesse Field on The Great Lawn.
The win keeps Monmouth in a tie for first place in the CAA standings with Northeastern, which alson on its match on Sunday. The Hawks and Huskies close out the regular season next Sunday with the CAA Regular Season crown on the line.

A'Liah Moore with a great scoring opportunity. Moore's initial shot was saved, but she corralled the rebound and was able to find the back of the net with a left-footed one-touch strike.
The Hawks doubled their lead in the 70
th minute when
Julia Evernham headed home a set piece service off the inside of the far post.
