WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth University men's soccer team fell to Penn on Tuesday night by a score of 3-0. The Quakers were among those receiving votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll.
The Quakers struck twice within the first 12 minutes of action while adding a third tally in the 35
th minute, taking a 3-0 lead into the break and holding it throughout the second half.
Eryk Dymora made four saves in goal for the Hawks, with
Ben Zakowski,
Bastian Hatcher, and
Luke McBeth each registering a shot on goal in the contest.
MATCH NOTES
-This was the fifth meeting in the series which began in 2017
-The Hawks fall to 1-4-0 all-time in the series
-This was the penultimate non-conference tilt for Monmouth, with the final match slated for Senior Night on October 25 against Hartford
