NEWARK, NJ – A pair of second-half goals made the difference for the Monmouth University women's soccer team in a 2-0 victory over NJIT on Monday afternoon at Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium.

Sarina Jones scored on a brilliant individual effort in the 54th minute before Jesi Rossman's insurance goal in the 82nd completed the scoring. 

The Hawks put together their fifth consecutive shutout dating back to the Spring season and limited NJIT to one shot on Madie Ogden in goal.

- Ava Allen and Olivia Denney each made their first-career starts. 
- Arianna Sparrow and Olivia Ramiz each made their collegiate debuts as substitutes.
