MEN’S SWIMMING EARNS SPRING CSCAA TEAM ACADEMIC HONOR

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The Monmouth University men's swimming team was honored by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) when the organization revealed its Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2021 semester.

The award celebrates teams that achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the past semester. Monmouth's men's swimming team has now earned the award in five consecutive semesters.

"Our program continues to prioritize academic performance and this Academic All-America Team recognition is a result," head coach Matt Nunnally said. "I am pleased with the continued hard work by both of our teams, as well as our academic support staff, and they deserve to be honored for their effort during a challenging year."

The men's team combined to accumulate a grade-point average of 3.18, and was one of six Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference teams to be recognized. At the Division I level, the Hawks were one of 110 men's swimming teams to receive the honor.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
