LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Monmouth University women's lacrosse team lost to No. 2 Siena by a final score of 20-11 in the semifinal round of the MAAC Tournament on Saturday afternoon at Hickey Field.
Allison Turturro and
Nicole Ceraso each scored hat tricks in the first half for Monmouth as the Hawks were able to build a 7-5 lead through 20 minutes. Siena responded with the final three goals of the opening half and never trailed from that point on in the eventual nine-goal victory.
Ceraso contributed seven points, including four goals, and Turturro finished the game with four goals to lead Monmouth's offensive effort.
