NOTES AND QUOTES
"First of all, I have been anxiously waiting for the FDU Invitational, as this was our first 36-hole event in over a year. Every day we are so grateful for our opportunity to play and compete for the blue and white. Golf is such a strange sport in that we don't react to a ball being thrown at us or to the play at hand. The amount of time we need to be prepared, to be ready for competition is a lot. Our players commitment to this process has been impressive and it certainly showed this weekend. We have raised a pretty high bar for being accountable, present and engaged. I'm so proud of them. This weekend, we made some key adjustments that resulted in a 12-shot swing during our first round, a 15-shot improvement in Day 2, and our lowest competitive round of the year. Exactly the type of progress we have been working so diligently on since February 1st. I'm very happy for
Paige Diecidue's Top 10 finish and I'm especially proud of her perseverance these last few weeks. Big confidence boost for her. We have had at least one player in the Top-10 at every event this year, showing both our depth and talent. Big shout out to
Isabel Vance, who after opening up her round with a triple bogey, dug in deep, and finished with 5 birdies on the day." – Head Coach
