FAIRFIELD, CT – The Monmouth University men's tennis team won its sixth consecutive Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship on Sunday, defeating Fairfield, 5-2.
The Hawks won the doubles point with wins at all three positions.
In singles play, Monmouth got wins from
Max Benaim at No. 2,
Victor Castro at No. 3,
Lucca Silva at No. 4, and
Gabriel Busato at No. 6.
Monmouth improves to 11-2 (5-0 MAAC) on the season, and has won ten straight matches. The Blue & White have also won 27 straight regular season MAAC contests.
