HANOVER, N.H. – Behind a strong second-half performance, the Monmouth women's basketball team cruised to a 55-37 road victory over Dartmouth on Sunday afternoon.

Despite trailing by two at the half, the Hawks (3-3, 0-0 MAAC) outscored the Big Green (0-7, 0-0 Ivy League), 34-10, over the final 17:37 of action en route to picking up their first road win of the 2021-22 season. During that stretch, Monmouth shot 48 percent from the field, while the Hawks' defense limited the Big Green to just three makes from the floor. Â

Kaci Donovan led all scorers on the afternoon with a game-high 13 points.
Kayla Richardson, who was responsible for much of the damage in the second half, got into a groove and sparked the surge by scoring all 12 of her points in the closing 20 minutes.

Jen Louro and
Stella Clark combined for 20 in the scoring column after Louro poured in 11 with Clark adding nine to pair with seven boards.
Ariana Vanderhoop tallied a team-best 10 rebounds and finished with a game-high five assists.
