HAMDEN, Conn. – The Monmouth men's soccer team dropped a road MAAC contest to Quinnipiac, 2-1, on Saturday afternoon.

The Bobcats (8-6-0, 3-4-0Â MAAC) broke an even 1-1 score in the 88th minute with a goal to secure the win over the Hawks (7-5-2, 5-2-0Â MAAC).

Quinnipiac came out on the attack from the start and scored within the first minute of action to take a 1-0 advantage.
Ben Zakowski provided the game-tying score for the Hawks in the 28th minute and the two sides battled until Quinnipiac tallied the late game-winning goal.
