EDISON, NJ - Four former Monmouth University cross country student-athletes have been named to the MAAC Cross Country 40
th Anniversary Team, the league announced Thursday.

This team highlights some of the top cross country student athletes to compete in the MAAC over the past 40 years.

Khari Bowen, Kyle Mueller, and Ryan Mitchell were all selected to the men's team. On the women's team, Jenna Cupp was the lone Hawk selected to represent Monmouth.

Khari Bowen was an All-MAAC selection in 2013, All-Region in 201, and accrued All-East honors three times during his career. Bowen also holds the school record for the 10000-Meter Run (30:11.73).

Ryan Mitchell earned All-East honors twice and placed seventh at the Crossings of Colonie (25:37.7). Mitchell was selected to the MAAC All-Academic Team on three occasions and finished fourth in the 10,000 meters at the 2019 MAAC Championships.

Kyle Mueller earned three All-MAAC selections as well as three All-East selections. Muller finished fourth at 2018 MAAC XC Championships and 12th at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals as a senior. His fourth-place finish is the highest for any Hawk since joining the MAAC and the highest non-Iona finisher since 2012.

Jenna Cupp collected All-MAAC honors twice and also earned an All-East selection during her career. Cupp was a two-time Monmouth XC Kickoff winner and was selected to several MAAC All-Academic Teams.
