NOTES AND QUOTES
Â
"Today was a solid day of softball. It was nice to come out in game one and hit the way we did. Kylie did a good job of settling down and attacking, and our hitters had quality at bats up and down the lineup. Game two was a great game. It's unfortunate we came out on the losing side, as I thought we played well enough to win. The non-conference schedule is about being challenged in all aspects of the game, and I'm proud of the fight and energy our team played with today." –
Monmouth head coach Shannon Salsburg
