Behind a season-high in points and field goal percentage, MU defeated Saint Peter's on Tuesday, 81-67. The Hawks shot 61.5% (16-26) in the second half. Sophomore Lucy Thomas compiled 19 points (9-14 FG) and 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. Senior Sierra Green dropped a season-high 19 points on five triples. Senior Alexa Middleton registered her fourth double-double of the season, scoring 15 points to go along with 11 rebounds. Senior Akilah Jennings added a career-high 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals in the win.
 
SCOUTING THE QUINNIPIAC BOBCATS
The five-time defending MAAC Regular Season Champions, Quinnipiac was selected second in the Preseason Poll. Senior Taylor Herd was named to Preseason All-MAAC Second Team, while senior Paige Warfel and junior Shaq Edwards was named to the Preseason Third Team. Edwards currently leads the team with 15.3 points per game. Herd ranks second with 9.3 points per game on a team-high 24 triples. Warfel leads the team with 10.4 rebounds per contest in addition to 8.9 points.
