PHILADELPHIA – The Monmouth University women's soccer team earned its second consecutive shutout after playing Drexel to a scoreless draw on Thursday evening at Vidas Field.

The Hawks controlled the match from the outset and shined in the first 45 minutes, but were unable to solve Drexel keeper Libby Baeza. Monmouth's Jill Conklin generated the best chance with her 27-yard blast that struck the crossbar in the eighth minute.

Senior Madie Gibson looked like she would put Monmouth in front in the 78th minute, but her goal was disallowed after she was called offside.
