NOTES
"I thought that both [pitchers
Amanda Riley and
Megan Stauffer] were fantastic today. Amanda really set the tone for us by attacking their hitters, and the defense was really solid behind both of them. In both games, we were getting contributions from one through nine, which made a huge difference. Our offense was really strong, and they stayed with our plan of attack. We had a high number of hits and capitalized on the base paths. Overall, it was a terrific day and a great way to finish the weekend. I'm proud of the effort and the way we played as a team." –
Monmouth head coach Shannon Salsburg
