PRINCETON, NJ – Senior Kyle Mueller led the men's cross country team to a 11
th place finish with a time of 24:25.1. This time is now the fastest time on the Princeton University 8K course in program history. For the first time this season and in her collegiate career, sophomore
Kyra Velock led the women's team with a time of 23:02 in the 6K.

NOTES AND QUOTES
- "This was a strong field of schools, and we were much too spread out to have the kind of team finish we would like," said head coach Joe Compagni. "We did have some great individual races, though, and learned some valuable lessons that can help us as we move into our championship meets."
- The men's team finished in 13th place in a field featuring elite teams like Princeton, Villanova and UConn.
- The men finished ahead of MAAC rivals Quinnipiac and Rider.
- The women finished 17th and ahead of MAAC member Rider.
- Behind Mueller was Ryan Mitchell finishing in 25:06 and taking 45th place which was good enough for the seventh best time at Princeton in program history.
- Ryan Rafferty (25:46.2) and Tim Euler (25:51) finished 3-4 for the Hawks while Evan Jerolman rounded out the Hawks' top 5 with a time of 25:58.2 in 102nd place. Freshmen Matt Bodon and John Spinelli finished with times of 26:02.6 and 26:13.4.
- Following Velock was senior Amber Stratz (23:07.7), graduate student Christiana Rutkowski (23:18.9) and junior Dayna Luma (23:24.4). Megan Lindstrom (24:06.9), Melanie Pfennig (24:11.8) and Alyssa Repsher (24:15) rounded out the Monmouth contingence.
