MARLBORO, NJ – The Monmouth University women's golf team defeated new Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference associate member La Salle in a dual match, Sunday afternoon at the par-70 Bella Vista Country Club.  The Hawks compiled a team score of 330, 61 strokes better than the Explorers.

Faith Garcia and Sarah Kokotajlo both registered 81 on the afternoon, while Haley Goodling and Erin DiDonato turned in matching rounds of 84 and Kaitlin Clancy inked 85.

The Hawks tee off in the 54-hole Hoya Invitational on April 10-11.  The  event which will be held at Four Stream Golf Club will feature 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.
