LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL – The No. 1 seed Monmouth University women's soccer team used three second-half goals to erase a 1-0 halftime deficit and defeat No. 4 Siena 3-1 in the MAAC Semifinal on Tuesday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Monmouth trailed at halftime 1-0 after Siena scored in the ninth minute on a header by Madi Belvito. The goal was a result of a Siena corner kick and one of two shots on goal in the game for the Saints.

The Monmouth offense found its rhythm in the second half as Lexie Palladino scored the first of her two goals in the 55^th minute. The sophomore fired a right-footed shot from 20 yards out that went just under the crossbar to tie the game.

Palladino put the Hawks in front a little more than 20 minutes later with her second goal of the day, before Madie Gibson's header 33 seconds later gave Monmouth an insurance goal to run the final score to 3-1.

- Alli DeLuca set up Gibson's goal with her second assist of the season. She now has five career assists.
