WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Monmouth University men's soccer team scored the equalizer in the 34
th minute against Siena on Saturday night, but neither team could put another in the net, resulting in the 1-1 tie. Sophomore
Donovan Pollock scored his first goal of the season on a header, as redshirt freshman
John Antunes picked up his third assist of the season on the play. Junior goalkeeper
Bobby Edwards made eight saves to keep the game knotted at one, which ties a season-high for saves. The Hawks' record now stands at 4-7-1 (1-3-1 MAAC), and the team will travel to Buffalo, NY for a matchup with Canisius on Wednesday.

st minute, as it connected multiple passes in the box, where Marco Kloster eventually scored.
-The Hawks answered in the 34
th minute, as Pollock's header snuck past the goalkeeper to make it 1-1. A perfect cross from Antunes found the head of the sophomore.

Zachary Pereira had a shot and a header around the six-yard box, but both sailed just high.

-Mrkulic led the Hawks with five total shots.
-Tonight marked Siena's eighth tie of the season.
