WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two goals by
Miranda Konstantinides (Voorhees, NJ / Eastern) combined with a stifling defensive effort catapulted the Monmouth University women's soccer to a 4-0 victory over American on Friday afternoon at Reeves Field.
The Hawks dictated the action from the opening whistle as they outshot the Eagles 16-1 en route to the shutout. American was held without a single shot on goal in the match, while
Jessica Johnson (Holmdel, NJ / The Hun School) and
Alli DeLuca (Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central) each scored their first-collegiate goals to push the final tally to 4-0.
