WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Monmouth University women's soccer team played visiting Lehigh to a scoreless tie on Monday night at Hesse Field on The Great Lawn. The Hawks applied pressure on the offensive end throughout the match to the tune of 28 shots, but were unable to find the back of the net over 110:00 of action.

Alexis McTamney (Bordentown, NJ / Bordentown Regional) finished with 10 shots and hit the crossbar on two occasions, once in the 81st minute and again in double overtime. Classmate
Rachael Ivanicki (Marlboro, NJ / Colts Neck [Bryant]) also hit the post early in the second half, but the rebound bounced off the inside of the post and over the end line for a goal kick.
