LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ –  The Monmouth University women's soccer team extended its winning streak to four games with a convincing 6-0 victory over hOURglass rival Rider on Wednesday night at Ben Cohen Field.

Monmouth scored twice in the first 17 minutes to secure a 2-0 advantage it would take into halftime. Rachael Ivanicki (Colts Neck, NJ / Colts Neck [Bryant]) put in Monmouth's first goal 4:10 into the game after Monmouth earned a corner kick. Alexis McTamney (Bordentown, NJ / Bordentown) sent in the service and Miranda Konstantinides (Voorhees, NJ / Eastern) deflected it to Ivanicki for the first tally.

A little more than 12 minutes later, Alli DeLuca (Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central) doubled Monmouth's lead with a left-footed strike that beat Rider goalkeeper Bethany-May Howard. The Hawks held Rider without a shot in the first 45 minutes and piled on four second-half goals to come away with the 6-0 triumph.
