Dear Monmouth University Students:

In response to the growing popularity and increased student body attendance at  Monmouth University men's basketball games this year, Athletics is now instituting an advanced student ticket pickup process for all remaining men's basketball home games.  Here is important information on the student ticket pickup process:

• Current students may pick up a voucher starting seven days prior to the game at the MAC box office.  Students must show a valid Monmouth ID.  Students may only pick up one voucher and may not pick up vouchers for other students. 
• The box office hours are Monday—Friday 9am—5pm.
• To enter the game, students must bring the voucher AND have their current ID scanned at the door of the MAC.  If you don't have a voucher, you will not be admitted as a student. 
• Vouchers must be picked up by 5:00pm the business day prior to the game (i.e. 5:00pm Friday, January 29 for the Saturday, January 30 game). 
• STUDENTS WHO DO NOT PICK UP  A VOUCHER BY THE DEADLINE WILL NOT BE ADMITTED FREE OF CHARGE.

FAQ:

• Why is this system being implemented?
• The student voucher pickup system is being implemented to ensure all spectators can enjoy the game in a safe environment.
• Is there a cost for the voucher?
• No, there is no charge for the voucher and the voucher itself is not a valid ticket for the game.  Only your student ID and the voucher will allow you to attend the game. 
• How many student ticket vouchers are available each game?:
• There are 1,000 student ticket vouchers available for each game.  There are 867 seats reserved for students in the MAC in sections E, M, N, P, and T.  The remaining students can access standing roomlocations behind sections M and N.
• What happens if all of the vouchers are picked up before the deadline?
• If all 1,000 vouchers are picked up, then additional student ticket vouchers will not be available and the student section will be noted as “sold out”. 
• What happens if not every voucher is picked up by the deadline?
• If fewer than 867 vouchers are picked up, the remaining tickets will be sold to the general public on the day of the game.  

o   Does my voucher reserve a specific seat location? No, the voucher and your student ID guarantee you admittance to the game.  Seating is first come first served in sections E, M, N, P and T. 

• Can I pick up tickets for my fellow MU students if I bring their ID with me to the box office?
• No, in fairness to all of the students each student must pick up his/her own voucher
• Can I get a free ticket for my friend that attends another school or is not a Monmouth Student
• No, free student ticket vouchers are reserved for Monmouth University students only.  Tickets for guests can be purchased at the box office or online at monmouthhawks.com and are subject to availiblity.
