WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - The Monmouth University men's tennis team fell to in-state Northeast Conference rival Fairleigh Dickinson University, 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon at the MU Tennis Courts. The loss drops the Hawks to 4-10 overall in the spring season and 0-3 in conference play.
MU Freshman Harvey Bhalla (Buckinghamshire, England /Dr. Challoner's Grammar School) picked up the lone point for Monmouth in the match with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Yuri Gricheno at fourth singles.
The Hawks return to the court on Friday against conference foe Saint Francis University at 3:00 pm.
