The Monmouth University men's basketball team opens its 2007-08 campaign with a road game at Colgate on Friday, November 9 in Hamilton, New York. The Hawks and Raiders, who have met just one other time in program history, are set to tip at 7:00 p.m. in Cotterell Court.

The Blue and White, who were picked 10th in the NEC preseason coaches poll, are coming off a 12-18 season, while the Raiders enter 2007-08 off a 10-19 campaign. The Raiders have 11 returning letterwinners, while the Hawks have six players returning from last season's squad that saw minutes.
