Harvey Meldrum enters his 13th season with the Hawks as an assistant coach in 2014. Meldrum, who has been on the sidelines for the Hawks' eight straight double-digit win seasons and three conference championships, focuses mainly on the Monmouth goalkeeping corps and tactics.

A graduate of Point Pleasant Boro High School, Meldrum took his talents to Ocean County College, where he was voted team Most Valuable Player in his lone season. He also played for the United States Army men's soccer team from 1976-1979.

Meldrum also suited up for the Colorado Springs Hustlers, a men's semi-pro team from 1980 to 1985, while also competing for the Denver Avalanche of the Major Indoor Soccer League (pro indoor league) in 1982 and 1983.

Meldrum, a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) licensed coach, has received an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. He has also served as the head goalkeeper coach for the New Jersey Girls' Olympic Development, and is a member of the goalkeeper coaching staff of the Region I Girls' Olympic Development Program.

Meldrum resides with his wife, Cindy, in nearby Manasquan, N.J.
