Torrie Cash joined the Monmouth women’s basketball staff as the Director of Program Operations in July of 2022.
She came to West Long Branch from Coastal Carolina, where she was an assistant coach for the 2020-21 season on the women’s basketball staff before transitioning to the director of basketball operations role prior to the 2021-22 campaign.
Before joining the Coastal Carolina coaching staff, Cash played two years for the Chanticleers where she averaged 7.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 61 career games with 52 starts. She added 77 steals and 146 career assists, while shooting 82.7 percent from the free throw line and 39.2 percent from the floor. In her senior season in 2019-20, she helped lead the Chanticleers to a program-best record of 25-4 to pair with a 15-3 mark in Sun Belt Conference play.
Cash also gained additional collegiate playing experience at Monroe Community College in Rochester, N.Y. In two seasons at MCC, she averaged 12.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
With her 802 points at MCC and 455 points at Coastal, Cash scored 1,257 career points in her collegiate career.
