Sean Bair joined the Monmouth Women's Basketball staff in July of 2021.
In his first season with the Hawks, he helped coach Monmouth to a 12-win turnaround that also included a seven-win improvement in conference contests. It was the largest turnaround in program history from one year to the next in both overall and conference victories. It was also the most overall and conference wins for the Hawks since the 2018-19 season.
Before his arrival in West Long Branch, he served as the Director of Video & Analytics at Penn State.
While at Penn State, Bair used video and analytics to increase the team’s conference wins by six, including a victory over #15 Ohio State. His duties included producing player development videos, evaluating recruits, and creating post-game reports.
He previously worked as a graduate assistant coach with Arkansas men’s basketball. While with the Razorbacks, he worked extensively on recruiting graphics, logistical organization, camp and strategic research, while assisting in several other aspects of the program.
Prior to his time at Arkansas, Bair was the head boys basketball coach at New Oxford (Pa.) High School from 2013-19, earning 2019 GameTimePA Coach of the Year honors. He finished with three-straight winning seasons, including two trips to PIAA 5A postseason in 2017 and ’18 and posting 20-plus wins in 2018 and ‘19.
A Gettysburg, Pa., native, Bair earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Dickinson College in 2012 and is working towards a master’s degree in Adult and Lifelong Learning from Arkansas.
