Monmouth University Athletics

Maegan Yelverton was named Monmouth University’s Director of Women’s Basketball Operations in May 2014. She came to West Long Branch after one season as an assistant coach at Louisburg College in North Carolina, while also serving as an assistant at Apex High School, helping the Cougars reach the second round in the North Carolina 4A State Tournament.

Yelverton also served as head student-manager with North Carolina State women’s basketball, where she worked with and learned from the late Kay Yow, as well as Kellie Harper.

Yelverton earned her Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from NC State in June 2013.
