Ali Sanders joined the Monmouth University Women's Basketball staff in May of 2021. Sanders came to West Long Branch from La Salle, where she served in the same role.
“I’m thrilled to have Ali join our program,” said head coach Ginny Boggess. “In addition to being a rising star in the business, she is a tireless worker, exemplifies integrity, and has an unmatched passion for mentoring young women. The entire Monmouth community will benefit from Ali’s contagious energy.”
During her one season at La Salle, Sanders oversaw the development of post players. Her duties included creating workouts and development plans, handling video operations such as film for practices and games, and scouting opponents.
Prior to her time at La Salle, Sanders was the Director of Video and Recruiting Operations at Penn State. There, she took the lead on recruiting operations such as creating recruitment presentations, organizing prospect information and depth chart, creating mail-outs and text graphics, and making videos for recruiting and social media.
Sanders also spent time with Boggess at Marquette University, where she served as Video Coordinator from 2018-19. Her role included serving as the coordinator of technology while assisting with scouting, social media, recruiting operations and the creative team.
After earning her bachelor’s degree at Southeastern University, Sanders was a graduate assistant and assistant video coordinator at the University of Florida. At Florida, she assisted with practice, special events, recruiting visits, and scouting, while also working on the creative side with graphics and videos.
