Why Monmouth: "First, it was close to home. It has been awesome to be able to have my dad come to most, if not all, of the games. Besides that aspect, I came to Monmouth because on my recruiting trip I felt very welcome. My host was amazing and the time I got to spend with the team was an awesome time. I got a chance to hang out with the entire team and got to know a few of them personally. It was a place where I could see myself starting a new chapter in my life. Not only did I feel welcomed by the softball team I also liked that the class sizes were small and that we have a great support staff athletically and academically that want to help us strive for excellence in the career we want to pursue after college."
