Monmouth University Athletics

Lee Simonetti joins the Blue and White after an impressive prep career. She earned varsity letters for four seasons, two at Poughkeepsie High School and two at Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.).

Simonetti was a dominant player as she earned a spot on the All-Conference and All-Section every season in high school. She was named to the All-State squad after her junior and senior seasons. She completed her high school chapters with a career .385 batting average, knocking in 95 runs. A terror on the base paths, Simonetti reached safely at a .586 clip and accumulated 84 stolen bases. With Challenge USA and the Brewster Rockets (NY), Simonetti has competed in numerous regional and national travel ball tournaments.

Lee chose Monmouth over Rutgers (NJ) and the University of Connecticut. She is the daughter of Michael and Beth Simonetti and is undecided on her studies at Monmouth.
