Biography

Why Monmouth: "The reason why I came to Monmouth was it's location. Not only was it close to the shore, but it was close to my house. I knew going into college I wanted to stay close to home because of the connection I have with my family. I wanted my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to enjoy watching me play softball. I always had at least one family member at every one of my games growing up, and I wanted them to enjoy my accomplishment of playing Division I softball with me."

2013 (Senior): Hit a team-high eight home runs and finished second on the team in slugging percentage (.509), doubles (6) and RBI’s (29)… Was third on the team in total bases (54)… Earned NEC Player of the Week on Feb. 25… Homered, walked, drove in three runs and scored another in the season-opener at Norfolk State (Feb. 24)… Hit a grand slam in her only at bat in the Hawks’ third game of the day at Norfolk State (Feb. 24)… Knocked a pair of homers in two at bats, driving in four runs vs. Furman (Mar. 1)… Singled, drove in a run, walked and stole a base at George Mason (Mar. 9)… Went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, two RBI’s and a run scored at Rider (Mar. 13)… Went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a walk vs. Fairleigh Dickinson (Mar. 23)… Went 2-for-3 with a walk in a doubleheader at Sacred Heart (Mar. 30)… Hit a solo homer and walk in Game 2 against Robert Morris (April 6)… Doubled, walked and scored a run in Game 1 at Wagner (April 7), before adding another base hit in Game 2… Had a single and two RBI’s in Game 1 against Temple (April 17), before adding a double, a walk and an RBI in Game 2… Hit a two-run double in Game 2 at Mount St. Mary’s (April 20)… Hit a three-run home run at Rutgers (April 25)… Went 3-for-3 with a double in Game 1 at LIU Brooklyn (April 27), before hitting a grand slam in Game 2… Went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI’s in Game 1 vs. Saint Francis (April 28).

2012 (Junior): Hit .235, including a .296 mark in NEC play, while starting 36 of 43 games played... Was the Hawks primary starting catcher... Finished second on the team in hit-by-pitch (3), third in slugging percentage (.479) and home runs (7), fourth in total bases (57) and fifth in RBI's (20) and doubles (6)... Was second on the team with a .983 fielding percentage and threw out nine attempted base stealers... Had five multi-hit games... Went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI's and a run scored in the season-opener against Norfolk State (Feb. 25)... Hit her first home run of a season, a two-run shot, against Manhattan on Mar. 16... Followed with another round tripper against the Jaspers two days later (Mar. 18) and went long again in her next game against Sacred Heart (Mar. 24)... Smacked the game-winning grand slam against Wagner, part of a five-RBI afternoon in a doubleheader sweep of the Seahawks on Apr. 6... Went 2-for-4 with a triple, a home run and four RBI's against Fairleigh Dickinson (Apr. 14)... Had consecutive 2-for-4 efforts against Central Connecticut (Apr. 23) and Rider (Apr. 25)... Went 2-for-3 with a solo home run against Mount St. Mary's (Apr. 28).

2011 (Sophomore): Started in all 42 games for the Hawks... Ended the season with a batting average of .302 (38-126) and led the team with 29 RBI... Also was second on the team in home runs, belting six round trippers for the Hawks... Led the team in walks with 19... Went 1-for-3 against Norfolk state (2/26) with one home run, two RBI and one run scored... Went 1-for-2 against Florida A&M (3/6) with one home run, three RBI, one run scored and one walk... Went 4-for-4 against Albany (3/20) with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored... Went 4-for-4 against LIU (4/7) with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored.

2010 (Freshman): Started all 48 games for the Blue and White in her first season at third base... Batted .214 on the year at the plate (28-131)... Collected 19 RBI's, five doubles, a triple and a home run... Had a .947 fielding percentage... Had two hits, including a double and an RBI against Penn (3/20)...  Plated three, homered and singled at La Salle (3/21)... Scored twice, collected two hits and had two RBI's at Saint Francis (3/27)... Singled, doubled, scored twice and brought in two at Robert Morris (3/28)... Tripled and had three runs batted in at Seton Hall (4/7)... Went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against Quinnipiac (4/17)... Had three hits, doubled, scored twice and brought in two at Bryant (5/6).

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Colts Neck High School... Played centerfield for Coach Chris Hoffman... Named First Team All-Shore Conference from 2007-09... Named Second Team All-State as a sophomore and First Team All-State as a senior... Earned team's Rookie of the Year award as a freshman... Named team Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year from 2007-09... Led Shore Conference in home runs in 2008 and 2009 and runs batted in as a senior... Owns every major offensive record at Colts Neck... Finished scholastic career with a .423 batting average, .748 slugging percentage, 134 hits 20 home runs, 85 RBI's, 29 doubles and seven triples.
