Biography

Why Monmouth: "My deciding factor to attend Monmouth was the overall atmosphere of the school and the team.  I loved how much coach cared about me and was always asking what I thought and just being involved in what was going on in my life.  Also when I came on my visit I liked the location of the school and the size of it.  The team itself was funny and great.  Going out to dinner with them was a lot of fun and everyone made me laugh constantly and I knew it would be a good place where I could have fun and enjoy the game."

2010 (Junior): Part of the starting nine in all 48 games as a junior for the Hawks... Named to the First-Team All-NEC team for the second straight year...  Led the team with a .336 batting average (55-for-158), eight homers and four triples... Second on MU with 33 runs batted in... Paced the team with 42 runs scored and 13 stolen bases, while leading team with a .620 slugging percentage, 98 total bases, and also a .947 fielding percentage... Went 2-for-4 with two RBI's and a run scored against Brigham Young (3/6)... Was 2-for-4 with a double and a run at Sam Houston State (3/10)... Tripled, singled and scored a run against Penn (3/20)... Had a 4-for-5 day including two homers, three RBI's and crossed the plate three times at La Salle (3/21)... Went 2-for-3 with a run and swiped a bag at Villanova (3/25)... Hit two doubles, brought in two and scored twice at Robert Morris (4/3)... Stole a base, added two hits and scored three runs at Seton Hall (4/7)... Went 4-for-8 with a home run, three RBI's and two runs in a doubleheader against Lehigh (4/14)... Hit a grand slam and stole two bases against Quinnipiac (4/17)... Knocked in a two-RBI double against Saint Peter's (4/20)... Went yard, doubled, brought in two and scored three times at CCSU (4/24)... Homered and tripled in the NEC Tournament, while knocking in three RBI's against Quinnipiac (5/14)... Hit a home run, brought in three and scored twice in the win over Robert Morris in the NEC Tournament (5/15).

2009 (Sophomore): Penciled in as a starter for all 45 contests in 2009 as a catcher and outfielder for MU... Recognized as a First-Team All-NEC performer... Tabbed as a 2009 ECAC All-Star team member... Tied for the NCAA Triples Crown with eight... Three-time NEC Player of the Week honoree... Led team with a .382 batting clip (55-for-144), 15 homers, 43 runs batted in, 50 runs scored, .875 slugging percentage, 126 total bases, and 19 stolen bases, and also achieved a team best .993 fielding percentage... Hit 1-for-3 with a double, stolen base, and a walk while scoring twice and driving in a run in a victory over Texas Southern (2/27)... Recorded a double and triple in a 3-for-3 outing with two runs and two RBI's while adding a stolen base in a 9-0 win over Texas Southern (2/28)... Hit three doubles and scored three runs, adding three stolen bases and an RBI in a 10-0 win over Texas Southern (3/1)... Hit a three-run home run and scored two runs in a 8-1 win over Coastal Carolina (3/10)... Mashed a three-run homer to lead the Hawks over Winthrop 5-2 (3/11)... Tripled and drove in the game-winning run in a 1-0 win over Penn (3/21)... Went 2-for-3 with a home run and a triple in a 3-1 win against Columbia (3/22)... Hit a two-run homer in a 3-for-4 outing with two runs scored in a triumph over Columbia 8-0 (3/22)... Tagged a triple in a 2-for-3 outing at the plate with two runs scored and an RBI against Robert Morris (3/28)... ... Hit a three-run home run in a 2-for-3 outing with three runs scored and two stolen bases in a win over Saint Francis (3/29)... Hit 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI in a win over Saint Francis (3/29)... Hit a solo home run in a contest vs. Seton Hall (4/1)... Belted two home runs, driving in five RBI's in a 7-1 win over Manhattan (4/8)... Hit a home run and a triple, driving in two runs while scoring three times in a triumph against Manhattan (4/8)... Tagged her 11th home run of the season en route to a 2-0 victory over Mount St. Mary's (4/10)... Drove in three runs on a home run and a single while swiping a bag in a win over Mount St. Mary's (4/10)... Hit safely twice and scored two runs against Sacred Heart (4/19)... Scored a run and hit a double in a contest versus Sacred Heart (4/19)... Tagged a home run and two doubles with three RBI's in an 11-6 win over Rider (4/21)... Scored twice and drove in a run on a double in a 8-3 win over Central Connecticut State (4/25)... Hit a three run homer in a 5-4 victory against Quinnipiac (4/26)... Scored a run in a 5-4 victory in the NEC tournament against Long Island (5/8).

2008 (Freshman): Named to the All-NEC Second Team squad as a freshman... Appeared in 39 games, starting 36 contest... Led all Monmouth rookies in every offensive statistical category... Tied for the team lead in RBI (27), ranked second on the squad in slugging percentage (.587) and walks (11) and was third on the team in batting average (.349), and on base percentage (.407)... Drove in two runs in a 1-for-1 effort at the plate adding a walk in a tie versus Stony Brook (3/18)... Went 2-for-4 with 2 runs and 2 RBIs vs. FDU (3/29)... Drove in two runs in a 1-for-3 effort against Sacred Heart (3/30)... Drew two walks in a 1-for-1 game at the plate with a run and a RBI against Seton Hall (4/2)... Drove in two runs and scored once in a 3-for-4 outburst in a victory against Mount St. Mary’s (4/5)... Named the Akadema/Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week (4/7)... Hit 2-for-5 with a run and a RBI against Wagner (4/12)... Drove in two runs on a 2-for-4 day at the plate against Rutgers (4/16)... Scored three times and drove in three runs in a 2-for-3 effort at the dish against St. Peter’s (4/24)... Tallied both a RBI and a run in a 2-for-4 effort at the plate against Quinnipiac (4/27).

High School: Played softball under coach Ken Maciaz as well as basketball and cross country at DC Everest... Named to the Second Team All-Conference and the Defensive MVP her senior year... Honored with a First Team All Conference selection as well as First Team All State recognition and an offensive MVP award her junior year... Compiled a .442 batting average her junior year and a .373 average her senior year... Played travel ball with the Wassau Intensity of Wisc.
