Biography

SOPHOMORE (2012): Scored two goals and assisted on another in seeing action in all 19 games, including six starts… Tallied his first goal of the season in the Hawks’ 3-2 double overtime victory over Bryant (Oct. 7)… Also scored a goal at St. Francis (N.Y.) (Oct. 26)… Paired with his brother, Tomas, on an assist of Joseph Schmid’s game-winning goal in the regular-season finale against Sacred Heart.

FRESHMAN (2011): Saw action in 21 of 22 games played by the Hawks, including 14 starts … Scored two goals in his initial collegiate season, including the game-winner against Seton Hall on The Great Lawn on Sept. 16 … Also added a goal against Quinnipiac on Oct. 21 … Chipped in with an assist on George Quintano’s second goal in a 4-0 rout of LIU Brooklyn on Sept. 30.


BEFORE MONMOUTH: Penfold was a three-year starter and team captain for Scarsdale High School. The forward led his scholastic team to the state finals as a senior en route to claiming All-League, All-County and All-State recognition. He also plays for the FC Westchester U-18 Academy team, earning Eastern Conference Top-11 honors.
