  • 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District
2025 (Senior): 
  • Appeared in 39 games and made 36 starts in his final season. 
  • Saw time primarily at shortstop but also made starts at third, second and first base.
  • Finished with 15 hits, 10 runs scored and 13 RBIs.
  • Led Monmouth and the CAA with 13 sac bunts on the year.
  • Went 4-for-5 with two runs scored against Northeastern (4/27).
  • Had a pair of doubles and an RBI versus Stony Brook (5/17). 
  • Drove in a pair of runs in the win over Hofstra (3/23).
  • Scored a pair of runs in the win at NJIT (3/4).
  • Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs in the win over Dayton (2/14).
2024 (Junior):
  • Appeared in 18 games and earned the start five times.
  • Saw time in the infield and as a pinch-hitter/pinch-runner throughout the year.

  • Went 3-for-4 with four runs scored against NJIT (4/5). 
  • Had a home run and RBIs at Towson (4/22).
  • Picked up a hit and two RBIs at Stony Brook (5/12).
2022 (Freshman)
  • Played in 17 games, starting two at shortstop, hitting .300 in limited time.
  • Singled for first career hit at Delaware (3/20)
  • Went 2-for-3 with run scored and RBI in win over Iona (4/3)
HIGH SCHOOL
  • An infielder from nearby Fair Haven, NJ, Schmid comes to MU from Rumson-Fair Haven High School where he played for former Hawk Owen Stewart, as well as club baseball for the 9ers.
  • In 2018, Schmid hit .292 with 19 hits and eight stolen bases before jumping to .385 in 2019, swiping 11 bags and homering twice en route to being named First Team All Shore Conference
  • Schmid was among several incoming Hawks to be named a PG Preseason Underclassmen All American
  • A PBR Futures Game choice and a Garden State Games selection, Schmid also competed in ice hockey for the Bulldogs.
