Biography

Tim Davis is the newest addition to the Monmouth coaching staff, as the former outfielder joins the ranks as an assistant coach for the 2003 season, the first of his career. Along with the everyday operation of the baseball program, Davis will focus on the Hawks? hitters and outfielders.

Davis enjoyed a successful, albeit short career, at Monmouth, as the Henderson, Nevada native led the Hawks with a .369 batting average in 2002, which ranks 13th on the all-time Monmouth Division I single season batting average list. Davis played in 42 games, making 40 starts in the outfield and at designated hitter for the Hawks, registering a team-high .480 on-base percentage, which included 52 hits and 21 walks. Quick on the base paths, Davis was also 12-of-18 in stolen base attempts on the season.

Davis currently resides in Long Branch, N.J. and is pursuing his bachelor?s degree in business.
