Named first-team all-area at catcher in 2001 and third-team all-state... Coined first-team all-area in 2002 and 2003... Finished freshman season with a .333 batting average and posted over a .400 average in 2001 and 2003... Also earned three letters in basketball, where he played power forward... Team won a Suburban Council title during his senior season.
