Quickly: Power-hitting outfielder... Will be counted on to provide pop in the middle of the Hawks' lineup.

Garden City C.C.: Played two seasons at G.C.C., where the Broncbusters won a conference championship and were the Region 6 runner-up his first year... Named all-conference and finished 10th in the nation in home runs in 2005... Redshirted in 2006.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Jonathan Law H.S... Team won two conference titles, and ranked sixth in the state on three occassions... Three-time all-league performer, and named all-state in 2003 and 2004... Named conference MVP as a senior... Played one season for the football squad, as a running back.

Personal: Son of James and Maryann Bottigliero... Born August 19, 1985 in Stamford, Connecticut... Majoring in health studies.
