2012: Compiled an 8-3 record in 14 starts for the Blue and White… Selected by the Boston Red Sox with the 37th overall pick in the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft, becoming the highest draft pick in NEC history… Set a school single-season record with 101.1 innings pitch, fanning a conference and school-best 102 batters… Struck out six in seven inning of work in a win against Wright State in the season opener (2/17)…  Claimed the win at Virginia Commonwealth, fanning four in eight innings of action (3/3)… Opened NEC play with 13 punch outs in a complete game effort against Fairleigh Dickinson (3/16)… Took a perfect game into the eighth inning against Wagner, finishing with 11Ks, two hits and no walks (3/23)… Reached double-digit strikeout totals for the third-straight conference game, fanning 10 in a win against Quinnipiac (4/5)… Threw a complete game against the Mount, striking out nine (4/20)… Worked eight innings against LIU Brooklyn, striking out a career-best 15 batters, without allowing a walk (4/27)… Named Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week for outing against the Blackbirds… Did not allow a run and struck 10 against Sacred Heart (5/10)… Worked a complete game against FDU in the opening round of the NEC Tournament (5/17).

2011: Made 14 appearances for the Blue and White, starting 13 games... Worked 75.2 innings, with 61 strikeouts on the season... Made season debut at VCU, fanning four batters (2/26)... Recorded three punchouts at Florida Atlantic (3/5)... Hurled 7.0 innings against Liberty, yielding one earned run on four hits with six strikeouts without a walk (3/12)... Did not allow a free pass for the second consecutive outing, hurling 7.0 innings with six strikeouts in the complete game win over Sacred Heart (3/19)... Worked 6.0 innings against Bryant (3/26)... Fanned five batters against Central Connecticut State (4/3) and Wagner (4/17)... Struck out two in an inning relief appearance against Saint Peter's (4/20)... Earned a mid-week start against Seton Hall, throwing 3.0 innings with a punchout (4/26)... Allowed one run in 7.0 innings of work with six strikeouts at Fairleigh Dickinson (5/1)... Picked up a victory against Long Island with a 6.0 inning, one run, five hit, three strikeout, no walk outing (5/8)... Struck out a career-high 10 batters at Mount St. Mary's while picking up the win (5/13)... The right-hander struck out six Blue Devils and retired seven straight hitters from the end of the third to the end of the fifth in the Northeast Conference Tournament elimination game against Central... Light also sent down nine in a row with the bases full in the sixth through the first two outs of the ninth inning in his first nine-inning complete game (5/22).

2010: Pitched in 11 games for the Hawks, making 10 starts, working 57.1 innings... Had a 2-6 record and a 6.12 ERA with one save on the year... Pitched two innings and allowed one run to earn the save in a 3-1 victory at Navy (3/14)... Struck out seven hitters in 5.1 innings against Bryant (3/27)... Earned the complete game win after allowing four runs on five hits in seven innings while fanning three against Mount St. Mary's (4/11)... Threw six innings of two run ball striking out seven at Long Island (4/24)... Picked up the win after six innings of work fanning five batters against FDU (5/22).

High School: Selected in 28th round of the 2009 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins... Compiled a 20-0 career record with a 1.52 ERA at Christian Brothers Academy... 20-0 record is the best career record in Shore Conference history... Lead the Colts to a State Championship as well as two A-North Sectional Championship... Two time 1st team All-Shore selection... Tabbed to the 3rd team All-State... Also lettered in basketball while at CBA.
