2020 (Sophomore): Pitched in four games as a sophomore, starting once… Posted a 3.00 ERA in six innings… Threw two scoreless innings vs. Bucknell (2/15)… Did not allow a run in outings at Wofford (2/23) or San Diego (3/1).

2019 (Freshman): Pitched in 19 games, saving two games and pitching to a 3.32 ERA and 2-1 record… Struck out 39 in 38 innings, the fourth most K’s on the team… Threw three shutout innings at Richmond (3/20)… Put together five consecutive scoreless outings from 4/13-4-28, including first career win at Villanova with six K’s in three innings (4/23)… Also fanned six against Manhattan to pick up the save, throwing four shutout innings (4/28)… 2.1 scoreless frames at Iona earned second win (5/11)… Collected the save vs. Rider (5/17).

HIGH SCHOOL: Pitched and played the outfield at Nottingham High School under Head Coach Jim Maher... Set school records in career strikeouts with 264, single-season K's with 103, and career wins with 23... Recorded 102 hits at the plate, including five home runs, and hit .321 over his career... Three-time member of All-CVC First Team... Also a three-time All-Area recipient... Named Second Team All-State as a junior and senior... Three-time honoree as First Team All-Group Three... 2018 Times of Trenton Player and Pitcher of the Year... Helped his team to 2016 Central Jersey Group 3 Sectional championship.

PERSONAL: Son of Mary Jane and Gary Houghton... Major is health studies.
